The fun-loving, quirky Hektik universe and its many, cute inhabitants are the brainchild of Dutch / Austrian designers Gaudi Hoedaya and Ursula Wurzinger. Starting point for their adventure back in 2005 was a mutual desire to create a new kind of baby clothing with more character than the standard toddler’s apparel which at that time was ruled by light-blue, lime-green and pink.

"All prints are hand-printed or hand-pressed in The Netherlands, all in sweatshop-free environments - some even by the artists themselves!"

This idea quickly grew into a whole range of stylized but instantly recognizable animal characters that adorn their adorable products, now available not only for babies but also for kids and the young at hearts.

When we started hektik.cc we picture a brand that not only able to deliver high quality design but will meet a high standard of socially responsibility and sustainability throughout the whole production process as well. In our vision, on every chain - from the realisation of the product to the one that purchase it - joy and fairness has to be passed from one chain to the other.

All hektik.cc products are designed in The Netherlands. The t-shirts are made in the US, Bali and currently we even are sampling from ateliers in Holland. All prints are hand-printed or hand-pressed in The Netherlands, all in sweatshop-free environments - some even by the artists themselves!
